Frequently asked questions

How many regions does Spain have?
Spain has 17 autonomous communities, plus two autonomous cities on the North African coast, Ceuta and Melilla. This map lets you mark each of the 19 you have visited and shows how many you have been to, plus the percentage.
Which regions are on the map?
All 17 autonomous communities, from Galicia and the Basque Country in the north to Andalusia in the south, plus the Balearic and Canary Islands, and the cities of Ceuta and Melilla. Provinces are not shown separately; Seville counts as Andalusia, Barcelona as Catalonia.
Do I need an account to use the Spain map?
No. Your selections are saved in your browser, so you can come back later and pick up where you left off without signing up.
How do I mark a region as visited?
Click a region on the map, or search for it by name and tap it. Both the English and Spanish names work, so "Catalunya" finds Catalonia. Click again to remove it. Use the color picker to restyle your map, and the zoom control to reach the Canaries, Ceuta, and Melilla.
Can I share or download my Spain map?
Yes. Download your map as a PDF, or tap "Copy link" to get a URL that reopens with your exact selected regions and color, handy for sharing or moving to another device.
